An administrative assistant in an electrical company plays a crucial support role that helps keep the office organized and operations running smoothly. Their responsibilities may vary based on the size and structure of the company, but typically include a mix of office administration, customer service, and support for field electricians and project managers . What You’ll Do  Answer phone calls and respond to emails Schedule appointments and service calls for electricians, while organizing daily work schedules Greet customers or clients at the office Follow up with clients regarding estimates, invoices, or service updates Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and inspectors Track job progress and update project timelines Maintain physical and digital filing systems (job files, invoices, permits, etc.) with accurate records Manage incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries Assist with invoicing and billing clients Process timesheets and assist with payroll prep Track expenses and help with petty cash or credit card reconciliation Help prepare bids or proposals for electrical jobs Handle documentation for permits, inspections, or safety compliance Update job tracking systems or spreadsheets What you need to succeed: 1-2 years' experience with administrative work required Prior experience with home services preferred (Electrical experience is a plus!) Prior experience with dispatching technicians preferred Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace experience required ServiceTitan experience preferred Able to pass a drug screening and background check (random testing may occur) Strong problem-solving & project management skills High standards for your work; excellence & integrity matter to you You are able to be a true team player with a positive attitude at all times You are dependable and consistent in all areas This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
