Department: Alarm & Life Safety Shop Department's Website: https://fama.uark.edu/ Summary of Job Duties: The Alarm Technician II is responsible for installing access control systems in campus buildings (CCTV, card access, etc.); Installs electrical wiring for security/fire alarm systems in campus buildings; pull wire/cable; help maintain database for card access for campus buildings; troubleshoot electrical problems with security/fire alarm systems, card access & CCTV; After hours/on-call emergencies. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
