What you will be doing  You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Graduate Logistics Specialist and can expect to be involved in the following:   Project work supporting the continuous improvement of the Airbus Manufacturing Logistics organization  Daily operation support across the logistics department at a multi-program commercial aerospace manufacturing facility, including supporting the Airbus global supply chain.  You will learn how to use SAP MES as well as other Airbus manufacturing ecosystem IT tools  Additionally, you will gain experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing principles as well as an awareness of global supply chain topics  Throughout this program, you will develop as a professional through a series of rotational placements designed to support your professional development. Placements could include: different phases of the manufacturing process in logistics operations roles, rotations through the quality department, or in adjacent departments and/or sites dependent on your personal development needs as determined by you and your manager. Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Graduate Logistics Specialist! What we are looking for To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have: A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of supply chain management or logistics (0 - 3 years of experience) Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development. Physical Requirements Onsite or remote:  100% Onsite Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.  Hearing: able to hear and participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms.  Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.  Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.  Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.  Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.  Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.
