This partnership empowers Texas Digestive Disease Consultants (TDDC) - Southlake to deliver superior, individualized patient care by leveraging GI Alliance’s robust, world-class business and organizational support, ensuring our clinicians can focus on what they do best – providing top-notch care in a successful and dynamic private practice setting.  We are seeking an enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, dynamic team in a busy Gastroenterology practice by providing coverage in the DFW suburb of Grapevine, TX at Baylor Grapevine Hospital. Our clinic has been serving the community over 20 years and is also a partner of the fast-growing GI Alliance organization. Our practice fosters a team approach that will enable the PA/NP to expand their skillset and knowledge. We are dedicated to providing training and guidance to allow the PA to excel with a sense of proficiency and accomplishment. The PA/NP in this position will have a meaningful impact in the practice. The PA/NP will be an integral member of the TDDC Southlake practice by providing hospital coverage at Baylor Grapevine Hospital, working alongside a physician partner, helping contribute to our strong clinical presence and coordinated patient care efforts. Job Description : Practice address: Baylor Grapevine Hospital Schedule: Part-Time , including Saturdays & Sundays Inpatient, hospital based No call responsibilities Seeing both new patients (always seen in conjunction with a physician) and follow-up patients; patient consults and follow-up notes All plans of care will be run by the physician on staff Elicit detailed patient histories, conduct physical examinations and document findings Counsel patients and families on health conditions and treatments Support, educate, guide office clinical staff (Nurses, MAs) and office staff (schedulers) in regard to patient care Determine tentative diagnoses and order appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret pathology findings, imaging, laboratory and other results Counsel patient and family on endoscopic indications, findings, potential complications and expected outcomes Achieve proficiency in the practice and EMR Collaborate with referring physicians and offices, hospitalists, surgical partners and other specialties for optimal patient care Maintain in good standing licensure with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Active TX State Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner -  Required Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Required  Highly motivated and enthusiastic - Required Seeks efficiency - Required Exhibit professional work standards - Required Ability to communicate effectively and professionally - Required Ability to communicate and work collegially with a wide variety of team members - Required Gastrointestinal experience - Preferred New Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner graduates will be considered GI Alliance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
