Overview Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Resurrection Medical Center | Chicago, Illinois Prime Healthcare Join an Established Neurology Team Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a growing neurology program in Chicago. This employed position offers a blend of inpatient and outpatient care , providing the opportunity to work collaboratively with neurologists while caring for patients with a broad range of acute and chronic neurological conditions. Responsibilities Position Highlights Inpatient consultations, follow-up care, and discharge management Outpatient evaluation and ongoing management of neurological conditions Collaborative, physician-led practice environment Access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and CME allowance Employed position with Prime Healthcare Opportunities for professional growth within a national health system Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations, neurological assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings Provide inpatient consultations, follow-up care, and discharge support Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging, laboratory testing, and EEGs Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois Current Illinois APRN/RN license or Illinois Physician Assistant license National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) Neurology experience preferred; candidates with strong Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or related experience are encouraged to apply Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Pay Transparency Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
