Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)- Inpatient Neurohospitalist (M-F)

Responsibilities Performs history and physical examinations and carries out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care.  Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care. Required Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Georgia NP or PA license and National board certification BLS Certification Ability to obtain Northside Hospital credentialing and privileges Preferred One or more years of inpatient neurology (preferred), hospital medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care experience Stroke or neuroscience experience Experience caring for medically complex hospitalized patients Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.  PREFERRED:   One (1) year experience. -We are seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant for Neurohospitalist coverageInpatient only Neurology experienced is preferred however open to any driven and motivated APPs interested in seeking a Neurohospitalist APP position who meet certification qualifications - Certification: ACNP, AG-ACNP, PA-CCandidates open to the following shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm - may include holidays and some weekend coverage Work Hours: 8am-4:30pm
