Line of Business: Aggregates Ready Mix Driver I About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to maintain safe operating conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries. Operate delivery equipment and manage concrete placement while following established procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and uphold safety, quality, and customer service standards. What Are We Looking For Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and follow all applicable traffic and safety regulations. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service excellence. Capability to perform vehicle inspections, basic equipment care, and routine documentation. Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to meet licensing requirements for the position. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
